The drive is provided by a third-generation Bosch Performance motor - so the kids always have enough power to triumphantly leave their parents behind, even on longer family tours. The smooth, wide-ranging Deore 10-speed gears from Shimano take care of the perfect gear ratio. And safe braking is provided by the powerful hydraulic Magura MT Thirty disc brakes. If the journey takes you over bumpy trails, the Suntour air suspension fork and the grippy, comfortable 2.25-inch tires are there to help. With this bike, the next two-wheeled adventure will be unforgettable!
The Reaction Hybrid Rookie uses the same technologies and frame construction techniques as its adult counterpart. For example, a down tube manufactured using the Gravity Cast process in combination with a 1.5 inch head tube serves as a strong and rigid backbone. And that's what young mountain bikers need for their sometimes over-motivated riding style! Thanks to the cables routed internally, gear shifting remains smooth over the long term, and maintenance is reduced to a minimum. And for youngsters who want a little more control downhill on more difficult trails, a retractable seat post can be retrofitted without much effort.
