WHAT IS BIKE LEASING?
Bike leasing is a modern and environmentally friendly alternative to a company car. With bike leasing, you choose the bike you want, use it both for the commute and in your free time, and pay a monthly leasing rate. The leasing contract ends after a term of either 36 or 48 months. You then have the option of paying off the residual value and taking ownership of the bike.
THIS IS HOW BIKE LEASING WORKS!
The monthly leasing rate for your bike is deducted from your gross salary through salary conversion, so you don't have to worry about paying the installments. Since 2012, the same tax regulations have applied to bicycles and e-bikes as to company cars. The provision of the bike by the employer represents a monetary benefit (salary conversion model) on which you must pay tax at 0.25% of the gross list price of the bike. This means that company bike leasing can result in a financial benefit of up to 40% of the purchase price. This is not only a great way to stay fit and ride a high-quality bike, but also to actively protect the environment!
THE LEASING AGREEMENT
The term of the leasing contract can be either 36 or 48 months, depending on how high the monthly rate is. At the end of the leasing period, you have the option of taking over your bike by paying the residual value. If you do not want to keep the leasing bike after the end of the contract, you can simply return it to us.
