From the urban jungle to remote mountain passes and back again - no problem with the comfortable and stylish Kathmandu EXC. We have given this globetrotter a Shimano 3x10-speed XT gear system, which is known for its high reliability and ease of use. The powerful hydraulic disc brakes, which provide full control at all times, also come from Shimano. An easy-to-adjust Suntour air suspension fork smoothly absorbs all bumps in the ground. Last but not least, included in the package: our integrated IC 3.0 luggage rack and many other accessories, such as mudguards, side stands and lights. The perfect set-up for all eventualities - just sit on and off into the adventure!

The Kathmandu frame combines all the highlights typical of the series, but goes a little further. For example, the revised integrated luggage carrier IC 3.0 blends seamlessly and elegantly into our Acid mudguards. There is also a mount for a flat mount disc brake and a side stand on the rear wheel. The chassis owes its clean, tidy look to the pipe connections welded using the smooth welding process. So much for the looks. In terms of functionality, we equipped the rear triangle with a thru axle and opted for a tapered head tube for optimized stability and steering precision (even when fully loaded). And thanks to the cables running inside, the bike changes gears smoothly and the gears hardly need any maintenance. We have thought of everything - except for the toothbrush, which you will probably have to pack yourself.
