With a two-wheeler, it is much easier and faster to get through city traffic, no question about it. With a two-wheeler like our Hyde, for example, a simple and robust city all-rounder that is based on our 29-inch mountain bikes. Its Schwalbe tires roll extra smoothly and quickly through the urban jungle and can be stopped reliably, safely and directly by the powerful hydraulic Shimano disc brakes, in any weather. The stiff, but still very light fork promises the highest steering precision. And with the smooth, wide-ranging Shimano 3x9-speed gears, every city tour becomes a relaxed stroll.

There was a reason why the bike couriers of the 80s and 90s rode mountain bikes around the city - so when developing the Hyde we also took our 29er hardtails as a model. Double-butted aluminum tube sets form a stable, durable, light and agile frame structure that allows individual retrofitting with a luggage rack and mudguards thanks to seamlessly integrated mounting points. It also offers enough space for two water bottle holders - this means you are always optimally supplied with liquid, especially on longer tours through the city. Finally, a slim, stiff fork completes the frame, its specialty: crisp, precise steering behavior combined with low weight and an elegant look.
