Versatile, safe, stylish and guaranteed to be fun - that's probably the best way to describe the Ella 200. In terms of style and design, we took inspiration from our adult models and built in numerous touring-specific features for top functionality, which could certainly awaken a certain thirst for adventure in the kids. Long mudguards, a sturdy luggage rack, the side stand and the dynamo-powered lighting system - we've thought of everything that makes young cyclists happy. Equipped with child-friendly levers, the V-brakes also give you full control. And the smooth-running Shimano 7-speed gearshift changes smoothly from gear to gear. Now nothing stands in the way of a trip into the big wide world!
Frame
The Ella 200's robust, lightweight tube sets made of heat-treated 6061 aluminum are perfectly adapted to the needs of young female cyclists thanks to a specially shaped, curved down tube. Nevertheless: Since the occasional fall is inevitable among young cyclists, we have given the frame a replaceable derailleur hanger, which often saves expensive repairs. And of course the model - like its counterparts from the adult collection - has mastered our strict in-house test runs with flying colors and meets and even exceeds all relevant safety guidelines.
