Kids love racing – and with the Elite C:62 SLX Rookie they can live out their passion for racing to the fullest and translate it into maximum speed! It is made from the same C:62® carbon material as our racing models for adults and has exactly the same features as our athletes' World Cup bikes. Its Manitou Markhor suspension fork takes the lower weight of young riders into account and thus delivers perfectly tuned performance. The wide-ranging SX Eagle 12-speed gears from Sram change from gear to gear with super precision. And the snappy hydraulic Magura MT Thirty disc brakes bring the bike to a safe stop at the finish. Last but not least, we have fitted grippy tires with ultra-light Schwalbe Aerothan tubes to the Newmen Evolution wheels.
If you want to win races, you need a set-up that you can rely on completely. That's why we've tuned the Elite C:62 SLX Rookie frame for absolute top speeds - and designed it with the same attention to detail as our adult models. It is also made of the same C:62® carbon. Thanks to 12 mm thru axles on the rear wheel and a tapered head tube, the chassis rides quickly and precisely, even under maximum load. And because comfort is important even on tough race tracks, we've given it slim seat stays. And: The shift and brake cables run inside the frame, which keeps maintenance to a minimum and ensures fast, consistently precise gear changes. Because in racing, every second counts!
