We think it makes little sense for parents to have to make the bike they've just bought for their kids roadworthy. That's why we're offering the Acid 240 Allroad, a model that can do everything - and has everything. So it has a variety of accessories that you often need in everyday life: mudguards for bad weather (and clean clothes), an LED light system for "seeing and being seen", a power modulator on the front wheel that regulates overly hard or abrupt braking so that the kids don't accidentally fly off the handlebars, and a side stand so that you don't have to lean the bike against trees, park benches or house walls. As a performance finish, we've installed a Suntour suspension fork that skilfully wipes out bumps on rough surfaces, and a wide-ranging 7-speed gear system that changes from gear to gear easily and smoothly. Great!

The Acid 240 Allroad frame uses the same heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube sets as our adult models - it's clear that it's just as robust and durable as our full-grown mountain bikes. However, we've adapted the weight and proportions to suit children. We've also installed a complete set of accessories (mudguards, lighting system and side stand) so that the kids are prepared for all possible and impossible adventures. And then there's the handling: thanks to the well-thought-out design, young bikers can gain a lot of confidence without sacrificing riding fun. And because the odd fall is inevitable, the derailleur hanger is very easy to replace - this often makes expensive repairs unnecessary.
