Less is sometimes more, so the Acid 200 SL is based on the same successful formula as the Acid 200. With a few tricks and adjustments, however, we have made the bike even lighter, livelier - and higher quality. A Microshift 9-speed gear system with 11-42T cassette and an extended gear range supports young riders efficiently on the way up, even when it gets really steep. The slimmer handlebars with grips can be easily grasped by even small children's hands, allowing them to steer the bike precisely and brake safely. Grippy tires and pleasant handling round off the Acid 200 SL. No question, the kids will love it!
The heat-treated 6061 aluminum frame of the Acid 200 is just as high-quality and durable as that of our mountain bikes for adults - thanks to the specially shaped down tube, which is tailored precisely to the stature of young riders, it is extremely light and stable. The V-brakes on the front and rear wheels also work like those on mom or dad's bike. And because accidents are almost unavoidable on the way to becoming a bike pro, the derailleur hanger is easy to change - so you don't have to replace the entire frame after a fall.
